Information Gateway Services (Kitchener-Waterloo) Inc., recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by users of our website, those who conduct business with us online or in our office, those who submit forms to us, and email senders or recipients. We have created this policy to be respectful of our clients' right to privacy and to illuminate our relationship with users and clients. We do not automatically gather any personal information from clients unless supplied voluntarily. This normally occurs in the following ways:
The information gathered will only be through legitimate registration processes, only when necessary, and only with the explicit permission of the client. This data will at all times be treated with the same level of respect as other proprietary information, trade secrets, and business patents, and will be kept in the strictest of confidence. Employees of IGS K-W only receive the personally identifiable information on a need-to-know basis. IGS K-W has not ever, nor will we ever, disclose, sell, rent, exchange or barter anyone's personally identifiable information for monetary gain or marketing purposes with any third party except as required by law. IGS K-W does not read, examine, inspect or disclose information in account email or other files unless required to do so by law, or with the client's express consent. The protection of personally identifiable information does not apply to publicly available information, nor is it superseded by obligations imposed by statute, regulation, law, or legal process. Information that is not directly attributable to a specific individual is deemed to be non-personally identifiable information.
