DOCTOR MEMORY UPDATES

Feb. 28/10     Catching up with Jim Rustemeyer

An Aarkvark Invader on an Artificial Earth?  Jim Rustemeyer has popped up (sometimes kicking and screaming) along side the names Anubis Spire, Acrylic Prism, Radio Dystopia, as well as many others.  He is a (willing, I might add) Doctor Memory contributor and collaborator.  Jim's most extensive and complete collection, of music and info, is found on Mixposure.

Feb. 13/10     My Outer Space - Nikola Tesla - Doctor Memory

Today sees the release of the My Outer Space compilation, Volume 6.  It contains the track Alternating Currents (Nikola Tesla) by Doctor Memory.  The track is exclusive to the My Outer Space site and is available as a free download.

For the purposes of this recording, the writing and performing lineup of Doctor Memory is...
TK Greer - drums'n'bass
Jim Rustemeyer - lyrics
Denise Wilson - voice of Tesla's muse
Marlon Kempmann - guitars, vox, keyboards

Related sites include...

Feb. 12/10     In need of a freelance journalist?
                       Catching up with Coral Andrews

Coral Andrews has been a freelance journalist, locally, regionally and nationally for 30 years.  She currently contributes to Waterloo Region publications, Grand Magazine, Most Magazine and the Waterloo Region Record.  She also freelances for global internet magazine Suite 101 as Feature Writer for Playwrights and Stage Actors, in addition to writing about Film, Music and Dance.  She is also the host / producer for weekly arts and music magazine Coral FM for Sound FM.  Her eclectic Coral Concerts series featured Canadian musicians Nash the Slash, Bob Wiseman, Tamara Williamson and Microbunny.  Coral recently worked as the publicist for national show Echoes of Ireland.

Feb. 10/10     Halder is looking for you.

Featuring minimalist, experimental and avand garde music.
Live Fridays at 8:00 PM.  Rebroadcast Tuesdays at midnight.

Feb. 09/10     Catching up with Tad Winklarz

Feb. 01/10     Anubis Spire on FaceBook

There are more Anubis Spire updates on their new FaceBook page.

Jan. 30/10     Purchasing Karma Wheels in Canada

Why is the Karma Wheels cd, by Cybermonkey, only for sale online at a U.S. site... CD Baby?  Fair question.  It was the most cost effective way to provide the cd.  Alternately, for Canadian residents, the cd is also available at Encore Records in Kitchener... who also offer mail order sales.

Jan. 23/10     Acrylic Prism - 35 - Thirty-five and Out

You know those days... when you wake up and find yourself the token Canadian in a West Virginia prog band?  What do you do? Well... go the Acrylic Prism website... and check out the retrospective cd, '35'... as well as the info on the new cd, 'Thirty-Five and Out'.

Jan. 06/10     Catching up with Bryan Anthony

With the Wickman Music site no longer active...
singer, composer, keyboard player, music fan and supporter,
Bryan Anthony can be found at the following sites...
Alien Syndrome
Wavemaker I

Jan. 02/10    MySpace VS Doctor Memory

It appears that with all the upgrades done at MS, it has become next to impossible to navigate the site on the DM machine.  If you should need to contact anyone at DM, it is recommended to either use this page, or the FaceBook page linked above... at least until further notice.  Thanks.
